Biography

Erika Quezada is a bilingual (English/Spanish) mental health and wellness professional and the founder of Lotus Life and Wellness, an organization dedicated to promoting emotional well-being through culturally responsive coaching, education, and consulting. As a native Spanish speaker with deep roots in Latino communities, Erika brings a nuanced understanding of language, culture, and identity to her work, supporting churches, faith leaders, and community organizations with authenticity and cultural sensitivity. Her Christian faith shapes her mission to foster emotional, spiritual, and relational healing, particularly within the Church and underserved communities.


Expertise

Erika specializes in mental health education, trauma-informed care, leadership development, and holistic wellness, with a focus on serving multicultural and underserved populations. She is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation, an Eating Psychology Specialist, and an Accredited Corporate Wellness Consultant, blending psychology, wellness, and cultural awareness to empower both individuals and organizations. Erika’s holistic, people-centered approach integrates mind, body, and spirit, emphasizing empathy and sustainability in all her work.


Experience

With over 20 years of experience across nonprofit, public health, and community sectors, Erika has partnered with organizations in Illinois, Minnesota, Florida, and Colorado to deliver bilingual and culturally relevant wellness solutions. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Northern Illinois University and is completing graduate-level training in Holistic Wellness and Advanced Coaching at Notre Dame University of Maryland. Through Lotus Life and Wellness, Erika offers coaching, retreats, trauma-informed group facilitation, and speaks at conferences on topics such as soul care and organizational health, consistently supporting the growth and resilience of individuals and communities.
